The Nurburgring is where BMW honed the chassis of the M3 in the days when they were building it to compete in the touring car races. It was designed as a racer first and to homologate it they put in interiors and number plates and sold it as a road car.

The M3's engine is a triumph of engineering which will rev to 7000rpm. I have modified it discreetly to produce just over 230bhp and to give smooth torque throughout the rev range.
BMW M Cars combine outstanding acceleration, precise steering and superior handling with high levels of individual comfort. They have a heritage going back to the original M1 in 1978 in which the Motorsport tuned engines first appeared.
With about 1,000 members the M Power Club provides opportunities to socialise with like-minded individuals from all walks of life who have a common interest in M cars.
Many members attend track days and other driver training where you will get real value, be offered expert tuition and be able to explore the handling of your car in the safe environment of fully marshalled and well-organised events. There is only one standard we wish you to enjoy and progress towards - a high standard. We attend different circuits each year according to cost of hire. These include Silverstone, Donington, Goodwood, Cadwell Park, Croft, Hethel and the ultimate - the Nurburgring.
The annual Nurburgring driver training has now been going for over forty years and is held in the beautiful Eiffel mountains. This unique event enables drivers within groups of 10/15 cars to intimately learn the ideal line of the 12/13 mile circuit by dividing the circuit into 7 sections and repetitively covering each section with the tutor and his assistant. The days are concentrated, yet good fun and evening hospitality in the Motor Racing town of Nurburg is intimate but infectious in such a unique and beautiful environment. For the driving enthusiast the Nurburgring does come with a warning - once visited never forgotten, all other circuits pale into insignificance.
